A Day At Frank's

Dad and Paul started out the day racing, but mama hadn't showered yet, so we had to stay behind.  Gee mama, what DO you do all morning?   Anyway, when we finally caught up they were done racing, but we met them in time for gun shooting. Yes, that's right, someone decided it was a good idea for daddy to shoot off a gun....

This is over at Frank's house.  Grandma drove the cart for mama, me, and seahorse.   It was fun.

Mmmm... seahorse...

There's daddy and Paul after they went to check their shots.
Daddy thinks he did pretty well....

Here's me and crocodile.

Here's me with crocodile pondering
how old I'll have to be before daddy gets permission from mama for me to go shooting...

Then daddy and brother took me for a drive.

There's daddy with a peach sticking out of his mouth.
He thinks it's cool....
SIGH....

After all the fun, I fell asleep.  With all the high speed chasin' and guns a blazin', mama says I must have been dreaming about a good ol' western hold up:

DON'T SHOOT!

What I learned at Grandma Walker's

Shoes.  I love shoes.

Mmmm... Shoes.

Cheerios are good too....

The peaches off of Frank's tree are REALLY good

My Grandma Walker and I get along just great!

If you wake Paul up too early in the morning, he'll just go back to sleep
Until you take his picture
Then he'll open his eyes a little....

Cereal taste best after it has been on the face for a while

Stairs are fun

So are shelves

Daddy likes to play guitar hero

Paul doesn't like to have his picture taken

Neither does daddy

I get dressed before mama does

Shopping with grandma is fun

Mama really likes this big bird.

She likes it a lot.

I can stand up in my crib

Daddy knows where the laundry machine is.... :D

And last but not least....

When I feel alone in the world

My daddy has my back

So does the rest of my wonderful Walker family

A Day At Grandma Walker's

We start out with Grandma feeding me some Banana.  Mmm... Banana!

After, I get dressed and play with some of big sister Kayla's old toys Grandma saved.

Then I play with Grandma's dancing feet.

Grandma's got the coolest feet EVER!

Then cuddle time with Daddy.

Grandma feeds me a bottle.  Mmmm.... milk!

Then we are going on a trip with Daddy, Mama, and....
(drum roll please)

MY BIG BROTHER PAUL!
I like him.

Daddy stops at Gene's Root beer.  I fell asleep in the car and they did not wake me.
No fair.

Daddy thinks the french fry sticking out of his mouth is cool.

My daddy is strange, strange man....

SIGH.... Moving on....

Then we drive by the house where he grew up.

Daddy says this is where he got in his first fight.
Silly daddy.  Don't you know you shouldn't fight?

We went to the park.  Daddy wanted me to walk on the prickly grass!  With bare feet!
NO THANK YOU.

Daddy had to check out the senior parking sign.
Soon, dad.  Soon.

Then we wait while mama and daddy get their hair cut.

Then we come home and I look for my favorite book to read.

A good day at Grandma's!

9th Month

8 Months Old!

(With everything that happened on the 4th of July I forgot to get a picture of just her.  However, I happened to take this one....

Here's a close up:

This month brought another tooth - that makes 5, and the 6th one is here now (I'm very behind on my blog).
She has learned to crawl.  Thanks to Grandma Walker's house, she has learned to crawl with great skill.  And she has also learned how to pull herself all the way up.  Now when I greet her in the morning or after a nap, she is standing, holding the sides of the crib.  I can just hear her say, "Come on mama!  What's the hold up!?"
She still only says da and dah (for dog) but she is recognizing a lot of words. She has learned to yell / scream / whatever you want to call it.  This she does with great excitement during Sunday services.  Not sure what to do about that one.  Perhaps she is just excited to be there.  :D
She has come alive and more aware of everything.  Can't wait for another month!
