In response to Courtney's comment...

In response to my dear friend Courtney's comment:
"more! more! more! post more!"
I decided to,
 in fact,
 post more.

By the way: this is Courtney.
And yes, she is as fabulous as she seems.

So, I thought I would post my wedding, but there is too much.
And so, I will take a quick look at the highlights.

On July 1st, at 12:00 noon,

we met at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and sealed the deal.
And yes, pun intended. Unless that's too irreverent, then pun NOT intended....

Yes, that's our temple!  So, now to details. Who was there?  Me and Don....

and a bunch of other people....

But mostly there was me and Don....

And apparently a lot of kissing...

I was so happy that I cried like a little girl...

Don's kids Kayla and Paul came and added much to the festivities!

Don's mom and Frank drove all the way from Indiana to be here!

 Grandma Barney was a trooper!

Some of my wonderful Butler friends...

And of course, all my brothers and my mother...

After the temple we went to a church where mother provided some food.

Lily and Spencer provided some dancing!

After lunch Don and I... didn't do much of anything....
umm...

and then there was the ring ceremony and the reception at the Bollingers!

I taught all of their kids in my music classes,
they throw me a reception in their back yard.

Dawn had everything covered!

What wonderful people!

They even had a grand stairway for me to make an entrance:

At the ring ceremony, Daniel was master of ceremonies.

And he gave a great talk.
Spencer also gave an inspirational talk.

Kayla played.

Paul held the stand... (it was really windy)

Then Don and I exchanged rings.  He said some very sweet and sappy things.

And mama cried...

After the ring ceremony we partied.  Everyone said I had to sing for my sweet husband.
I was so worried I had to sing it for Jamie right after the wedding luncheon.
She insisted I did okay and so I sang it at the reception.
Then I got embarrassed and asked Don to come join me.

We are singing: "well it might be me
but the way I see it
the whole wide world has gone
Cra-a-azy,
so baby why don't we just dance."

Jamie and Grandma love it.

Aww... shucks... :D

Then my brothers sang "Next to Lovin' I Like Fightin' Best"

That's Daniel saying he can bust an 8 foot rail with just his little finger nail...

That's next to smellin me a rose, I like stomping on some toes...

Not sure what they are singing here, just loved the picture.

Then Jamie sang a song called "you make me smile."
She sang it much better then the original.

Jamie and Joseph sang "From this Moment"
- a favorite of mine since I heard them sing it at their wedding.

Oh yeah! and there was FOOD!

My dear friend Courtney made most of the desserts.

That's right! She made them! from scratch! SO much wonderful goodness!!

Sharee Jorgensen, another wonderful friend of mine, made the lemon squares and the fruit plates.
Thanks Sharee and Courtney!

My Aunt Kim and Jeanette made the cake.
It was so beautiful!  Thanks Aunt Kim and Jeanette!

They told me I couldn't use a fork.  I was NOT a happy camper...

It was really yummy!

Did I mention how cool my hair was?  Thank you Jamie's niece!

And my awesome centerpieces?  Thank you Alisa!

The night went long.  I finally knew it was time to call it quits.  How did I know?

Here is Jamie's tongue:

And, by this time of the night, Joseph gets REALLY tired....

Since we were loosing Joseph and Jamie
- the night life of the Stirland family -
we thought we'd close down with a family picture.

And there you have it.
The William Rulon Stirland Family in all their glory.
Miss you Daddy.

Oh, and by the way....

got to have a picture of my foot... it's what every good blog needs....
