My sweet husband had a business trip in Portland, Oregon and was going to be gone four days. He suggested I fly back to Utah and visit family while he was gone. So I did! Yay!
When I flew over the Salt Lake Valley I recognized the mountains. I also recognized the inversion. Don't have that in New York.
I stayed with Joseph and Jamie. We had a great time.
On Saturday my Utah brothers had planned a little get-together. Michael and AmySue drove down from Logan. AmySue wanted to do some car work so she stayed at her parents house and we came and got Michael. When we got back to Joseph, Michael got a phone call. Apparently he had the car keys in his pocket. So, we drove back to AmySue's parents house and dropped the keys off. (This was good because it gave us new material to mock Michael with...)
When we got back to Joseph's we watched Star Trek, ate popcorn and a very good chocolate cake that Jamie bought from Costco.
Then we went over to Daniel's house for Dinner. I took my camera. :D

Once we got to Daniel's house I took lots of pictures.
Joseph did impersonation of some of the seven dwarfs:

I had to get in on one of the pictures. Not sure what dwarf this is, but if you look close you can see Joseph's tongue....
**Disclaimer: by referring to the above dwarf impersonations, the author of this blog is in no way referring to the said Joseph's height. The author is very aware that said Joseph is at least a good 2 & 1/4 inches taller then her....
Moving on...
I tried to get a picture of Abby but Sam was much to fast.
Here she is!
Then we had dinner. Abby told Jamie all about the meaning of life...
Sam is very consumed with Abby's conversation with Jamie...
We had burritos with chili verde sauce. Daniel made them which meant my hands were free for taking pictures at the same time he started eating! Yay... ME!
After dinner we Skyped with mom and grandma! That's grandma on the screen.
Then we went down stairs and had some fun.
Sam looks so peaceful while he's pretending to be asleep...
And.... JAZZ HANDS!
