This Christmas was one of many firsts. Our first Christmas tree, for example. I know what you're thinking: what about last year? Well, Don was just getting over a bad case of pneumonia and I was getting over acute bronchitis. By the time we were better it was a little late. So, here's our first Christmas tree.
Yes, we know it's small. We didn't want anything too big, so
we got a live one in hopes of planting it one day.
That is, if I can keep it alive that long...
Rebekah got her first Santa shirt. It says "Auntie knows Santa" - which I'm sure she'll remember the advice for next year.
If Rebekah could talk she'd say, "Thanks Aunt Jamie!"
It was the first time Rebekah and Paul met. Yay for big brothers!
Paul bought Rebekah the shirt. It says,
I love mommy
and tractors...
And Rebekah thought she'd give mama and daddy a wonderful Christmas present. The night before Christmas Eve, Rebekah slept through the night! I was so worried I got up several times to check if she was breathing. The next night she slept through again. This was a picture after one of those long night sleeps.
When she wakes up after a long night of sleep she likes to stretch.
and stretch....
and stretch...
it really takes a good 3 minutes or so.
Fun to watch. Some day I'll try to record it...
